A few things you might be wondering.

Do I need a database?

StaticFlow stores content and settings in plain files. Back up the whole site—or keep a safe copy of your data and uploads folders—to preserve your work.

Can I use it to showcase products I sell?

Yes. Grids give each guide or product a featured image and full description. Connect its Buy Now button to the checkout or product page on your existing storefront.

What kind of hosting do I need?

Use a web hosting account with PHP 8.0 or newer and writable data and uploads folders. Apache can use the included data-folder protection file; other servers need an equivalent access rule. The README walks you through installation and the protection check.

Can I update an existing StaticFlow site?

Back up first. Replace index.php and merge the admin and lib folders, keeping your existing data and uploads. The included README has full update instructions. Use a fresh, empty folder when you want a clean tutorial installation.

Does this preview save my edits?

The interactive previews on this page show sample layouts and appearance choices. Install StaticFlow to create, edit and save your own website content.

Your product. Your checkout.

This is a layout preview. In StaticFlow, add your own storefront URL to the grid’s Buy Now URL field. The button then takes visitors directly to your product or checkout page.
